Raymond J. Deeb, M.D.

Dr. Raymond Deeb is a board certified pediatrician and also completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He has over 24 years experience in rendering medical care for children from the newborn age up through the age of 18.

He was born in Miami, Florida and is the youngest of four siblings. He graduated from The University of Miami School of Medicine, where he obtained his M.D. in 1990. He completed his pediatric internship at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado and completed his pediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. He then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama.

Rebecca McCoy, M.D.

Dr. Rebecca McCoy has been caring for the children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for the last three years. She was born and raised in LaGrange, Georgia, with her three sisters. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then returned to Georgia to attend medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine and pediatric residency at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In her time off, she enjoys cycling.

Leah Heaver, LPN

Leah has been in family practice and pediatrics for the past 13 years. She grew up in Norcross and currently lives in Tucker. She always knew she wanted to go into the medical field and became a Certified Nursing Assistant while in high school. When you ask her why she chose nursing she says, ” Because I’m a people person, I love getting to know the families and kids and seeing them grow!” Leah is an avid runner and participates in several races throughout the year. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband Ben and 3 girls Riley, Tyler and Parker. She also likes crafts, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

Lisa H.

Lisa has been an Atlanta resident for 30 years, and joined our team in March of 2022. While raising her 2 grown children, she also worked in leadership development and retail for nearly 12 years. Once an empty nester, she wanted to find a way to connect with and support young families. Her family experience and love for children and parents makes working in pediatrics a perfect fit. She loves traveling to visit her kids and trips to the beach.

Tarrian B.

Originally from Daytona Beach, Florida. Relocated to Atlanta in 2001. A graduate of Georgia Perimeter College also attended Clayton State in Healthcare Management. She has over 30 years of experience in the medical field and has a true love for kids. Four children and three grandchildren. She is always open to learning new things.

Ariane T.

Ariane has been in healthcare for over 16 years and in pediatrics for the last 6 years. She relocated from Miami, FL over 25 years ago and now considers herself a Georgia girl. Ariane is a lover of food and travel and enjoys both with her husband, family and friends. She loves the fact that being in healthcare allows her to care for people and make a difference in their lives every time she sees them.

Verdonna F.

Originally from Maryland, Verdonna has worked in the medical field for more than 7 years. She really enjoys caring for young kids and the elderly community. Her passion is to inspire and mentor young people while they navigate through life. Verdonna is looking forward to continuing her medical education to become a registered nurse. She enjoys Atlanta’s fine dining and exploring the cultural variety of foods here in Atlanta.
