Welcome to our newly redesigned Briarcliff Pediatrics website and blog! This past month we celebrated seventeen years of providing excellent quality care to infants, children, adolescents, and teenagers up to 18 years old. In honor of the occasion, we have completely refurbished not only our website, but our offices and waiting rooms as well. It is our hope that this new site will be able to provide access to the most up-to-date patient resources from sources trusted by our physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We will also publish regular blogs to update you on important health tips for your child and explain the latest discoveries and trends in pediatric medicine. We sincerely look forward to providing your child with the highest quality care while developing personalized long term positive relationships with our patients and their families.
As a comprehensive pediatric care practice, located in Atlanta, near Tucker, Georgia, we have been able to provide preventative and emergency healthcare to thousands of children throughout the years. Prospective parents are always welcome to schedule a prenatal visit to our office before delivery, but our relationship with your newborn infant generally begins within one or two days of hospital nursery discharge, at what is called the one week well child check-up. During that visit, we will perform all the necessary tests and screenings to make sure that your child is healthy while plotting growth curves for height, weight, and head circumference as well. Parents and children are also introduced to our “Newborn Baby Dance,” a tradition which Dr. Deeb first began seventeen years ago! It’s a “must-see” that many parents like to video on their phones so that they can share the experience with their friends and on our Facebook page.
From that point on, the experienced Briarcliff Pediatrics staff will be available for all of your child’s health care needs, from preventive care medicine and well-child checkups, to sick child visits and referrals to sub-specialists. We gladly accept new patients as well as most private insurance, including Medicaid and the insurance companies that are Medicaid affiliated, such as PeachState, Wellcare and more. We offer same day appointments, with separate waiting rooms for sick and well children, and our wait times are usually only ten minutes or less.
